I was so delighted last week to be interviewed for a podcast on gender medicine by my personal hero, Jamie Reed. Jamie is a lesbian and a mom from Missouri, but she is known for blowing the whistle on the unethical practices at the Washington University Transgender Center at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Jamie has a master’s degree in clinical research management and worked as a case manager there. Jamie has more integrity, courage, and intelligence in her little finger than all the doctors who worked in that clinic combined. She saw through the BS and realized, contrary to the conventional medical wisdom and LGBTQ++ propaganda, that kids were being harmed.

It was an honor and a pleasure to speak to her and her co-host, Lauren Leggieri, who is also a brilliant lesbian thinker, on the Informed Dissent podcast. Informed Dissent addresses problems in youth gender medicine from a lesbian & gay perspective.

You can read the two articles I wrote that led me to be invited to speak on this website. First, there is my personal journey of coming to question “gender affirming care,” which “went viral” according to Jamie back in May.

Then, I took a deeper dive into the science behind gender-affirming care, and I found that much of it consisted of brazen academic fraud.
